SPEAKERS
Lily Li is the founder and president of Metaverse Law, a Chambers-ranked law firm that focuses exclusively on privacy, AI, and cybersecurity law. She advises tech startups to public companies on the CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA and global data privacy and AI laws. Lily holds multiple certifications in information privacy and computer forensics, and assists clients through the incident response and breach notification process. She is a regular contributor to the OC Lawyer and ABA publications, and has been a speaker at the Wall Street Journal Cybersecurity Symposium, California Lawyers Association, and PrivSec Global. Lily Li has also been selected by the Daily Journal to its Top 40 Under 40 2026 list, which recognizes California’s top rising lawyers under 40.
Amira Bucklin is an associate in Rutan’s Intellectual Property practice, focusing on data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology law. She advises clients ranging from emerging companies to multinational corporations on privacy compliance, AI governance, cross-border data transfers, data breaches, and evolving data protection laws, including the CCPA and GDPR.
A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Amira holds privacy certifications in European, U.S., and Asian law through the IAPP. She earned her LL.M. from UC Irvine School of Law and previously clerked with the District Court of Frankfurt, Germany. She is also committed to community service and provides pro bono legal services through the OC Human Trafficking Project.
